“Forget the former things; do now dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43.18 New International Version).

There is a desperate need for perception in our day.

Through mass media and the internet there is a knowledge explosion and information overload. The “haves” in the industrialized, “developed” world with stronger economies are afforded the luxuries of accessibility to literature, education, travel, and exposure to life experiences – including leisure and recreation – that broaden their interaction with a global environment and widen their knowledge, if not their wisdom. In short, this generation knows, sees, and experiences more — but understands less.

Most definitions of “perceive” use descriptors like “awareness,” “understanding,” “apprehension,” “comprehension,” “discernment.” A “perception” is insight, knowledge, or intuitive judgment. As a word, “perceive” is derived from the Latin word percipere – “to seize:” per – “thoroughly” + capere “to take.” Therefore, when insight or wisdom is “perceived,” it is “seized” and “thoroughly taken.”

In Isaiah 43.18 God does not invite a consideration but commands Israel – and us – to forget former things, flee a fixation on the past, focus on His current work, and firmly seize – thoroughly take hold of and embrace – what He is beginning in a new season… Full article here

You’ve already heard the news and are probably asking yourself, “What can I do for the people locked inside North Korea?”

With the passing of North Korea’s Kim Jong-Il, its inhabitants, family members around the world and neighboring countries are living in the fear of uncertainty. And because only God knows what will happen next, we can meet Him in prayer.

Please pray that:

• The new leader, Kim Jong-Un, will have a heart of mercy and end the cycle of inhumane dictatorial rule.
• Those in government who have been “secret Christians” will gain more power and influence.
• Christians who have been imprisoned because of their faith will have opportunities to lead others in prayers. And while they pray the Holy Spirit will be revealed to those who don’t know Jesus.
• There will be an increase in opportunities to share about Jesus without fear of retaliation.
• The joy and hope of Jesus will be revealed to those who are sorrowful and feel uncertain of the future.
• North Korean Christians will gain a new boldness and wisdom and will seize opportunities to tell others about the Christmas story of Jesus’ birth.
• On Christmas day especially, the light of Christ will penetrate every home and heart in North Korea.
• Refugees who have fled into China and become Christian will courageously return to North Korea and share the hope of Jesus to a hurting nation.
• The horrendous situation with starvation will not escalate even further because of the government’s desire to demonstrate control.
• The thousands of starving children who are homeless will find shelter, comfort and love in a home with a believer.

Luna Noiembrie ne gaseste din nou implicati in cateva batalii critice pentru viata si libertate.  Pot sa contez pe rugaciunile tale fierbinți in acest anotimp si in special in zilele mentionate aici?  Asa de mult sta in cumpana!  Șansele noastre sunt mici din punct de vedere omenesc, dar cu Dumnezeul nostru mare si tare totul este posibil.

 Noiembrie 8:   cetățenii din Mississippi vor vota in final asupra Amendamentului Constitutional Nr. 26, care declara ca VIATA începe la conceptie, si extinde dreptul constitutional de VIATA fiecărui om, inclusiv copiilor ne-născuți.  Acest amendament a fost conceput de noi la Liberty Counsel, si in ultimii doi ani l-am aparat in tribunal cu succes pana la Curtea Suprema din Mississippi.  Acum, in ajunul alegerilor, dusmanii VIEȚII cheltuiesc milioane de dolari in campania lor de atacuri si minciuni.  Roagate ca Mississippi sa aleagă VIATA!  Cred cu tot ce am in mine ca in generatia noastră vom pune sfârșit Holocaustului care a stins 53,000,000 de suflete inocente de la Roe v. Wade.  Alegerile din Mississippi sunt un pas important si uriaș in aceasta cauza dreapta si Sfânta.

 Noiembrie 9:    voi pleda cazul lui Susan Pine la tribunalul federal din West Palm Beach.  Îți aduci aminte ca guvernul American o judeca pe Susan pentru ca a “blocat” accesul la o clinica de avorturi.  Susan se afla intr-o trecere de pietoni impartind literatura despre valoarea VIETII unor mame care se aflau doar la un pas de avort.  O mașina a trebuit sa se oprească pentru DOUA SECUNDE ca sa astepte pe Susan sa se dea la oparte.  Nimeni din masina nu s-a plâns, dar acum guvernul American, cu toată puterea si resursele lui, vine împotriva lui Susan pentru ca a “blocat” intrarea la clinica.  Si, era sa uit, masina pe care Susan a “blocat-o” încerca sa între pe o strada cu sens unic/invers, adică ilegal!  Vom cere tribunalului sa respinga acest proces politic împotriva lui Susan.  Guvernul nostru va trimite TREI dintre cei mai buni avocati sa ne intimpine.  Dacă esti in S. Florida si vrei sa vii sa te rogi pentru Susan si mine la acest proces public, lasa-mă sa știu si am sa iti transmit detalii.  Insa apreciez si am nevoie de rugaciunile tale oriunde esti.

 Noiembrie 10:    Curtea Suprema a Statelor Unite va decide dacă primește cazul nostru împotriva lui “Obamacare,” legea socialista care transforma sistemul de medicina si fondeaza avortul cu banii nostrii din taxe.  Liberty Counsel a fost prima firma care a inițiat litigiu împotriva acestei legi (acum sunt o grămadă), fiind pe treptele tribunalului inaite ca cerneala președintelui sa fie uscata in aceasi zi când a semnat legea.  Curtea Suprema nu accepta decât 80 de cazuri din mii si mii de apeluri in fiecare an.  Dacă decide sa accepte cazul nostru, ne-ar da o șansa unica sa schimbam istoria si cursul Americii.  Roagate ca voia lui Dumnezeu sa fie făcută pe deplin.

 Si in final, tot in luna Noiembrie vom complecta argumentele scrise la Curtea de Apeluri din Atlanta, in lupta care continua in Dixie County pentru salvarea unui monument cu cele Zece Porunci pe care ACLU încearcă sa-l distruga.  Poți viziona un scurt documentar excelent aici, care încapsuleaza perfect curajul cetățenilor din Dixie County (cu referință de asemenea la comunistii care au ilegalizat Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu in România):

Dear LORD,

You alone are LORD. There is none other besides You. The nations of the world are a drop in the bucket to You. Nevertheless, You are mindful of the nations. You raise some up, and You tear others down — for Your Own glory and divine purpose.

Oh God, we consider all You have done for our brethren in South Sudan. We consider the long road on which You have taken them. We are mindful of the tender condition of Your Church in that nation — a people once steeped in darkness and rebellion and ignorance towards You. And yet, You planted a seed of faith that has grown into a tender sapling amidst horrid persecution and oppression.

You have preserved Your Faith — Your Truth — in this wilderness of the world, and now You have established South Sudan as a separate nation among men. After a long war, in which Your enemies sought to snuff out the Light of Your Gospel, You gave the victory to the weak and humbled the strong.

Now, oh LORD, we beseech You, in Your mercy, to firmly establish the Republic of South Sudan upon a Firm Foundation. A Foundation, not built by human hands or wisdom, but on a Rock of Faith — Your Faith.

There is no other Name under heaven by which men and nations can be saved besides the precious Name of Jesus. We pray that King Jesus will reign in South Sudan and bring all things into subjection under His feet.

We ask that You strengthen the Church and empower Your ministers, through Your Holy Spirit, to preach the Word with power and conviction. We pray that You would protect Your people from enemies abroad and from spiritual enemies within… More here
